WHITE ELEPHANT SALE: Gather CLEAN and gently used white elephant items – NOW is a good time to clear your clutter, save leftover garage sale items (yours and friends), volunteer to take items from friends who are moving, pick-up “FreeBees” on the side of the road, etc. Keep an eye out for our male shoppers, too. We would love to receive donations of fishing equipment, sports equipment, tools, etc. for the men in our lives. Unfortunately, we are NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT clothing, linens, furniture, exercise equipment or large electronics. Please contact Barb Ogrin (269-870-5369) with questions.
TREASURE TROVE: Collect new items (gifts you will never use, freebies from the casino, etc.) or valuables (dishes, jewelry, etc.) you would like to donate to be sold at the bazaar – Please contact Barb Ogrin (269-870-5369) or Therese Krajewski (269-377-5371) with questions.
CRAFTS: Continue working on the homemade treasures you plan to donate to the bazaar. We are hoping the MEN of the parishwill donate their handiwork, too (metal/woodworking items, stone work, etc.) We would love to showcase a variety of crafts to sell. BASKET RAFFLE: Start planning a basket; talk with family members, friends, co-workers, etc. about putting a basket together for donation; contact friends who own businesses regarding donating gift certificates for baskets; donate any new or gently-used baskets to be filled; or donate money to be used to assemble awesome baskets for raffle (place money in envelope marked “donation for bazaar baskets” and place in collection or mail to rectory). The basket raffle has really caught on and generated a good profit for the church. Please contact Judy Smith (269-385-3190 or 269-267-7057) with questions. All completed baskets, items for baskets, and/or money to purchase items to fill baskets must be submitted by October 6, 2023, so we can take pictures and promote the raffle.
HOMEMADE FOOD ITEMS: Perfect your recipe for the bread, jam, pie, cake, cookies, candy, granola, salsa, etc. to be sold at the bazaar. Please contact Therese Krajewski (269-377-5371) with questions.
SOCIAL MEDIA: An enthusiastic and knowledgeable technology savvy individualis needed to promote the bazaar on Facebook Page, St. Joseph Website, other Catholic Parishes, etc. Please contact Diane Stanke (269-544-9591) if you can help.
VOLUNTEERS: Volunteer to work set-up/take down, to prepare or serve donuts/luncheon or to work Bazaar Booths on Saturday and/or Sunday. Many hands make less work! Please contact Diane Stanke (269-544-9591).
